Aura Mirror

Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Aura Mirror Android app.

Last updated: March 29, 2026

What Aura Mirror does

Aura Mirror is a private beauty mirror app. It uses the front camera to show a live mirror view, lets users save mirror sessions locally on device, and offers non-diagnostic beauty guidance.

What data we collect

Aura Mirror does not require account creation, login, or cloud sync in the current app version.

  • Mirror photos created by the user
  • Session notes and guided answers entered by the user
  • Local preferences such as language and mirror settings

How data is stored

User content is stored locally inside the app on the device. In the current version, Aura Mirror does not upload mirror photos, notes, or saved sessions to a remote server.

No cloud account is required. If the user clears the app data or uninstalls the app, locally stored content may be deleted from the device.

Permissions used

  • Camera: used to show the live mirror and create mirror captures
  • Vibration / haptics: used for tactile feedback in the interface
  • Internet: used only for opening external links and app/runtime dependencies; user mirror content is not synced to a cloud account in the current version

Optional device sensors

On supported devices, Aura Mirror may read ambient light information to improve on-device lighting presets. This is used locally to improve the experience and is not used for medical or diagnostic purposes.

Third-party services and external links

The app can open external shopping links in the user’s browser, such as Amazon category pages. When a user opens an external link, that third-party website operates under its own privacy policy and terms.

Aura Mirror is not a medical, dermatology, or diagnostic product.

Children's privacy

Aura Mirror is not designed for children under 13. If you believe personal data from a child has been entered into the app, contact us and delete the local app data from the device.
